     We all have guides and guardians available to us on the spiritual plane, and this class teaches the simple means of being in direct contact with them through shamanic journeying.  The ability to intentionally communicate directly with those on the spiritual plane is an asset to many spiritual paths, and the shamanic journey is one very dependable means of doing this.

    This brief class is an experiential introduction to Core Shamanism through the experience of the shamanic journey.  If you’re wondering what shamanism is or how it might compliment (or be) your spiritual path, this is a great place to start.  There’s a bit of talk — some history, terminology, procedures and such — but then we move into the journey itself, to meet our helping spirits.  If you’ve already done plenty of reading about shamanism, that’s great, but this is a living practice most effectively learned by personal experience, and again, this is a great place to start.

How can we better embrace life with heart and spirit?  We each have a personal direct-line to spirit, but may need some help to reawaken it.  Shamanism is still here, and it still works. If it's ready to reawaken within you, please join us.

In this intensive and totally engaging (and fun) workshop, you'll meet your personal power animals and spirit guides and learn how to journey shamanically with them, for guidance, connection and enhanced well-being.  This 2-day workshop covers everything contained in the 2-hour intro class, but in much greater depth, along with more practices as well.

We’ll use this time to explore the shamanic realms through a variety of journeys, trouble-shoot any questions that arise, consider the ethics and protocols of this practice, look a bit at the history of shamanism and its uses in healing, and then - yes! - do more journeying.

The emphasis is Core Shamanism but with a Craft influence: I've been blending these practices since 1988.  This is an experiential workshop, so please bring your good intentions and active curiosity as well as your drums and rattles.  No prior experience is necessary.
