invocation of spirit

on the 2nd Tuesday of each month 

This is an gathering for us to come together, to shift consciousness and travel on the drum's vibration, to enter Non-Ordinary Reality and connect with our spirit guides, power animals and teachers for the healing and guidance they can provide.  I’m Renna Shesso and I’ll be facilitating for the circle.  While my own background leans towards Core Shamanism, this group welcomes all traditions and levels of experience.

We meet a few minutes west of downtown Denver.  We'll have time for several journeys - and the evocative drumming and dance that support them - then will formally close the circle.  Some brief discussion, Q&A and teaching perhaps, but mostly journeying, the avenue of spiritual connection which is at the heart of this practice.

Location: Full Moon Books, 9106 W. 6th Avenue, Lakewood, CO 80215. 

Time: This is a shop, so arrive early if you like.  However, the shop closes and the doors are locked at 7:00 PM, so you must arrive by 7 PM. We finish at 9 PM

Suggested donation: $5 to $10

Directions: Full Moon Books is just south of the West 6th Avenue Expressway, in the Meadowlark group of shops along the eastbound frontage road. Use the Garrison exit off 6th. There's plenty of free parking in the lot, and the MapQuest and Google Maps directions are correct.

Please bring: Drums and rattles, note-taking materials, and your good intentions.  Optional: Back rests, bandanas or Mind-folds to cover your eyes, a small blanket.
