We’ll explore how to design beautiful & effective spells, start to finish, including the follow-through: Getting results. Yes, this works, or else there’d be no point in doing it!

Tarot Shadow Work 5-Week Intensive
Mondays, 7 to 9 pm. Starts January 19, 2009, then 1/26, 2/2, 2/9 & 2/16.
For the continuity of all those participating, please commit to attending all five sessions.
Cost: $75 - $100 for the series (sliding scale). We meet at a downtown Denver location.
This in-depth workshop explores some of the most challenge aspects of the Self via Christine Jette’s excellent book Tarot Shadow Work.
Maybe you already have this book but would prefer having a formal framework — schedule, like-minded “support group”, facilitator — within which to explore the exercises, which focus on looking at one’s own issues around denial, anxiety, inferiority, anger, secrecy and self-loathing. Yikes!
This is intensely personal work, and we create a solid “structure” within which to do it: We establish safe and sacred space, use guided visualizations and clearly set intentions, and then all do our own work using the book’s exercises. Prior familiarity with the Tarot is very useful but not required.

Learn how to use all those great stones you’ve collected. Explore the metaphysical uses of stones and crystals – their lore, their unique energetic properties and how to use them. We’ll handle dozens of stones for recognition purposes, learn how to “cleanse” and “charge” stones for magical use, practice aligning with their energy for healing and much more.

Beginners and up
Yikes, 78 cards!? Where do I start?
Trying to pick up the Tarot just from books can be rough - Live classes are more fun and make learning easier as well.
Beginners, get a rock-solid foundation in the Tarot basics. More experienced Tarot-readers, stretch your understanding, find some new perspectives.
This experiential course includes:
— exercises using the Tarot for personal discovery
— in-depth examinations of the Major and Minor Arcana
— special ways to tap your intuition and memory to personalize the cards' meanings
— how to read the symbolism in the Tarot's art
— tips on effectively and ethically reading for others
— how to design and personalize your readings
— and more. We cover a lot of ground!
This is a 6-session course, with take-home assignments between meetings. Copious written materials and audio tapes/CDs of Tarot meditations are included.
