Along with the many other fine points that make Utilikilts unique, they ARE NOT sized like pants! Pants sizes are designed by the clothing industry to flatter us all, and the more expensive the brand, the more delusional the numbers. Utilikilts are sized via an honest-to-the-Gods tape-measure, run through the belt-loops of your favorite-fitting gear and pulled snug. (Ladies, for us that means down on the hips somewhere — these are Man-Cut garments, with no tapering for our shapely waists. Expect a bit of gathering if you belt ‘em at your waist, or simply hang ‘em low - either way, you’ll reawaken your Inner Xena.) For both men and women, the measurement may sound like a larger size, but will fit you the same or better. And Utilikilts come in ALL sizes, odd inches as well as even. These will FIT. Larger sizes require more fabric and are priced higher.

The elder statesman of the Utilikilt line, the Original is lightweight, comfortable and comes with deep and functional side cargo pockets. The Original’s 8.5 oz. cotton-poly twill fabric resists wear, shrinkage and wrinkles, and breathes well.

Workman Utilikilt
Desk jockeys need not apply. The Workman is the ultimate utility kilt — the flagship model built for long, hard days on the work site building cool stuff that would make any pants-loving wimp cry. The leather-reinforced hammer-loop is snap-adjustable, to lay flat or expand to hold a drill, tripod or your own specialized gear. There are riveted pockets everywhere. Mocker Utilikilt
The Mocker is Utilikilts’ response to those popular pants with the rhyming name. The Mocker is sooo much cooler, in every sense. With slant-in pockets at the sides deep enough to lose things IN instead of OUT of, and two single-welt pockets in the rear. Very tidy.

Survival Utilikilt
Crazy configurations and volume in pockets! Snap-off removable pockets and others can hold 18 beer bottles, sippy-cups or whatever you got. Or slide a full-size bottle of Mead or Merlot all the way into the cavernous Mocker-style slant pocket (and yes, we ARE glad to see you!) I just spent another five days camping in this and it was excellent — comfortable sun up to sundown, functional and easy — and the pockets held water bottle, journal, cool rocks, litter I picked up, all the junk I usually put in a clunky daypack.
